This page will be following my progress in in making a music video for my practical production coursework in Media.

My music video is going to be made to a song by the well known rock legends Guns N' Roses. But I can't choose between three songs "Anybody" or "Every Rose Has It's thorn" or "Welcome To The Jungle" If you could vote your choice on my poll I'd appreciate it. Any additional ideas would be good too, just leave a comment.

Anyway for this music video I must research how rock bands are represented in different media texts, and how different editing and special effects could affect the audience reaction that I may be trying to achieve. The audience for my video is, of course, those people who are interested in Rock Music, especially those who like the classic legends of the 90s.

My research will be following the representation of the band's two front men: Axl Rose and Slash. This is because they had the biggest effect on their fans as people who were there for the music and wanted to give people the truth about life and to force us all to see the "reality" rather than the "dream".
